Super Reviewer May 06, 2016 Thor The Dark World was surprisingly really good, there are people out there saying its the weakest MCU film and I honestly disagree completely. Let me explained what I liked/disliked. Positives 1. Chris Hemsworth is again fantastic as Thor! He has proven yet again that he owns this role and I can't imagine another actor helming this role. Tom Hiddleston honestly is just awesome as Loki, I'm not fanboying here he literally kicks ass as this character. The rest of the cast is good too it would take me too long to explain all of them. 2. The visuals; this movie looks nice and stylistically looks better than its predecessor which had annoying dutch angles. Asgard looks breathtaking and the scenes in it are awesome. The action is spectacular, I especially love the scenes where Thor is kicking ass. 3. The feel; one of the things I love about these movies are how different they feel compared to other MCU films. This film reminds me of Lord of the Rings and it does remind me of Man of Steel too especially the scenes in Asgard are reminiscent of Krypton. Negatives 1. The humor I did like in this film but at times it does get a little silly especially the scene where Ian crushes the elves with a car and then him and Darcy make out and teleport, I thought that was kind of ridiculous. 2. Jane Foster didn't really have much to do in this film I felt. She was in Asgard and didn't seem too surprised, she gave a tennis ball type look. And throughout the film she again didn't have much to do. Except for the finale but that was pretty much it. 3. The villain is weak as usual with most MCU villains. There is nothing interesting about his character other than he is a menacing a-hole, which honestly isn't enough. Overall Thor The Dark World I found to be a really good experience. Tapi, saat polisi menyentuh tangan Jane, tiba-tiba ada ledakan dahsyat yang berasal dari Jane. Menyadari ada yang tak beres dengan kekasihnya, Thor membawa Jane ke Asgard. Tabib Asgardian pun tidak tahu apa yang ada di dalam tubuh Jane. Sedangkan Odin, ia mengenali kalau itu Aether. Ia memberi tahu Jane bahwa Aether akan membunuhnya seiring waktu. Odin juga menyadari kalau ditemukannya kembali Aether berarti bencana akan segera terjadi. Benar saja, Malekith terbangun dari tidurnya ketika Aether bisa keluar dari tempat pengunciannya selama ini. Malekith pun memerintahkan Kursed para pejuangnya untuk menyerang Asgard karena dendam masa lalu dan juga karena tahu Aether ada bersama Jane. Dalam pertempuran tersebut, Frigga ibu Thor tewas. Walau sedang dalam masa berkabung, Thor merasa harus segera menghancurkan Dark Elf. Sedangkan Odin lebih menyukai ide semua orang di Asgard bersiap-siap, menanti Malekith yang datang, dan melarang Thor pergi. Thor pun mengajak Loki bekerja sama karena ia satu-satunya yang mengetahui portal ke berbagai dunia tanpa melalui Bifröst. Tapi, kita semua tahu watak Loki seperti apa. Thor pun tidak bodoh untuk mempercayai Loki begitu saja. Walau begitu, mereka tetap melakukan niat mereka, yaitu membawa Jane ke Svartalfheim, ke Malekith, agar Aether dapat keluar dari tubuh Jane dan saat itulah Thor akan menghancurkan Aether. Namun, upaya Thor untuk menghancurkan Aether gagal. Malekith yang sudah memiliki Aether pergi dengan kapalnya, sementara Loki tertusuk pedang akibat melindungi Thor. Loki pun meninggal dunia. Tak bisa berkabung terlalu lama, Thor berjanji akan mengatakan keberanian dan kesetiaan Loki pada ayah mereka nanti. Thor dan Jane menemukan portal lain di gua di Svartalfheim dan dapat kembali ke bumi. Jane pun bersatu kembali dengan Darcy, Ian, dan mentornya Dr. Erik Selvig. Setelah menyatukan pikiran, mereka sadar kalau Malekith berencana untuk melepaskan Aether pada portal yang terbentuk saat Convergence untuk menghancurkan ke-9 alam semesta. Selain itu, Thor juga mengatakan tentang pengorbanan Loki dan Thor memilih untuk berada di Bumi, melindungi orang-orang sekaligus agar dekat dengan Jane. Namun, saat Thor pergi, sosok Odin berubah menjadi Loki yang menyeringai. Cerita tamat, tapi ada adegan mid-credit yang memperlihatkan Volstagg dan Sif pejuang Asgard, teman Thor mengunjungi the Collector dan mempercayakan Aether ke perawatannya.
